Costs

IVF costs are substantial and the procedure is usually not covered by any health insurance. At Barbados Fertility Centre we have financial coordinators in place to assist you address all the costs and what is included. Costs will vary depending on the individual’s treatment plan. We work hard at containing the cost of your IVF cycle without ever compromising the high level of care and expertise that we provide.

Your IVF medication costs are not included in your IVF cycle costs and can also be quite expensive, depending on the medication dosage your Clinician prescribes for you.

You will have an appointment with one of our financial coordinators before you start your treatment. Payment in full is due before commencing your IVF cycle.

Caribbean Residents

Typical Costs for a local Barbadian couple undergoing IVF at Barbados Fertility Centre will be US$5,500*, plus medications which would amount to approximately US$2,000.

For our overseas couples we offer four holiday packages:

• Comfort, Luxury, Premium or Elite package.

Our couples can choose which package they are most comfortable with. Our current holiday packages are for two persons.

Comfort
• 14 night accommodation in a beach front self-catering hotel.
• Return airfare in economy class from New York, Miami, London or Toronto.
• Airport transfers in luxury private vehicle.
• All transfers from the hotel to Barbados Fertility Centre for medical appointments.
• Self Catering Suite with fully equipped kitchen.
• Mobile Phone for clinic staff to be able to contact you during your stay with results.
(This package can include the Healthy Mind/ Body program for an additional charge)

Luxury

• 14 night accommodation in a beach-front three star hotel.
• Return airfare in economy class from New York, Miami or London.
• Airport transfers in luxury private vehicle.
• All transfers from hotel to Barbados Fertility Centre for medical appointments.
• Mobile phone for clinic staff to be able to contact you during your stay with results.
(This package can include the Healthy Mind/Body program for an additional charge)

Premium

• 14 night accommodation in a beach-front four star hotel.
• Return airfare in economy class from New York, Miami or London.
• Airport transfers in luxury private vehicle.
• All transfers from hotel to Barbados Fertility Centre for medical appointments.
• Breakfast plan included.
• Mobile phone for clinic staff to be able to contact you during your stay with results.
• The mind/body program, which includes acupuncture, reflexology, Yoga for relaxation, a couples’ massage in one of the islands exclusive spa resorts and a therapy session with our Counsellor.
(This package can include a flight upgrade to Business Class at an additional charge)

Elite

• 14 night accommodation in an exclusive five star hotel.
• Return airfare in First class from New York, Miami or London.
• Expedited Customs and Immigration clearance for all arriving couples.
• Airport transfers in luxury private vehicle.
• All transfers from hotel to Barbados Fertility Centre for medical appointments.
• Breakfast plan included.
• Mobile phone for clinic staff to be able to contact you during your stay with any results.
• The mind/body program, which includes acupuncture, reflexology, Yoga for relaxation, a couples’ massage in one of the islands exclusive spa resorts and a therapy session with our Counsellor.

Included in all the packages:

• Meet and Greet service at the airport for all arriving couples.
• Luxury private car transfer to and from the hotel.
• Our Patient Liaison Manager will meet our patients at their hotel to facilitate a smooth check-in. Your appointment time at the Barbados Fertility Centre for the following day and the taxi collection time will be allocated. The couple receive their mobile phone on this day.
• World-class professional IVF team at Barbados Fertility Centre.
• Our guarantee that this will be as stress free an experience as we can possibly achieve for our patients.

We will arrange all your flight and accommodation dates and details with your ground transportation on arrival, once your IVF cycle has been scheduled.

Your IVF cost is a separate charge and included in this cost will be:
• All medical consultations, private hospital fees, anaesthetic fees, theatre fees, IVF laboratory fees, scans, blood tests while in Barbados.
• ICSI, Assisted hatching, Blastocyst, Embryo Freezing are an additional cost.

We endeavour to provide treatment in the month of your choice. However, in order to treat every couple with the attention they deserve, we can accept only a certain number of people each month. For all the IVF holiday packages, you MUST arrange your own travel insurance.
